Kennt ihr noch Tina S.? Sie lebte über 40 Jahren in der Buttmannstraße. Vor einem Jahr wurde sie jedoch zwangsgeräumt. Das Jobcenter hatte damals die Miete zu spät überwiesen. Jetzt wird die Wohnung für mehr als das Doppelte wieder vermietet. Wir haben keinen Bock, dass Menschen gegen ihren Willen aus ihrem Kiez verdrängt werden und andere daran verdienen. Wir finden, dass der Kiez uns allen gehört. Das wollen wir auch zeigen. Deshalb laden wir euch alle herzlich zu einem Mitbringbuffet/Kiezbankett vor der Buttmannstraße 15 ein.

Neighborhood-banquet against evictions!
Do you still remember Tina S.? For over 40 years she lived in the Buttmannstraße. Last year she was evicted. The Jobcenter delayed the payment of her monthly rent. Now the rent for the flat was doubled by the house owners. We are sick of this practice: displacing people from the neighborhood against their will while others make large profits. We think that the neighborhood is a place for everyone and belongs to it’s people. That is something we want to expose. So we invite you to a “bring-your-own-food” neighborhood buffet in front of the Buttmannstraße 15. Lot’s oft delicious snacks are awaiting and it would be great if you bring some of yours for everyone.
Starting 5 pm. Supported by Zwangsräumung verhindern! (project to organize and resist against evictions) and readings from a book about the german real estate business and Rosemarie F. who died days after her evection.
Additionally there will be talks and infos about the practice of evictions – and how to prevent/resist against these – Photos and videos from last years big repressive eviction of Tina and a lot of nice and chatty people to hang out with. Come around and get to know each other a little better.
